Default Trouble with maps

So I've decided to come back to guild wars again and downloaded the game from their website. But my problem comes when i log on to one of my characters and begin downloading the map.

It downloads at about 20-30KB/s. So its going to take at least an hour just to download Ascalon city. Is there anyway to speed up these downloads or find somewhere else to get them? I don't remember the maps tanking this long.

The only way to speed it up, is to use the -image command line switch to download everything in one shot. This takes a looong time, so it should be done while you sleep/work/school.
